PYLI VILLAGE EXPERIENCE

Service Description

Our tour begins at the ancient Tomb of Harmylos, a legendary Hellenistic monument, before heading into the heart of Pyli Village. Here, we will immerse ourselves in local culture by visiting the Pyliotiko Spiti, a preserved traditional peasant house that captures island life from a century ago, and admiring the lovely Church of Saint Nicholas in the main square. A highlight of the village is the historic Pyli Spring, where you can drink fresh, cold mountain water flowing from six lion-headed spouts dating back to 1592. Next, we hike up to the medieval ruins of Palio Pyli—the "Mystras of the Dodecanese"—for incredible views. After descending, we explore a local Aloe Vera farm and finish with a scenic drive home along the Tigkaki and Lambi coastlines.
