Get ready for an unforgettable journey through the heart, history, and hidden gems of Kos as we kick off our adventure along the beautiful coastal road of Faros, winding through the scenic countryside into Tigaki before beginning our ascent toward the mountains. Our first stop is a stunning, picturesque miniature church tucked into the hillsides, offering breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the landscape of Kos. From there, we head to the Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary (Evangelistria), one of the largest and most captivating churches on the island, featuring iconic traditional blue-and-white architecture and a majestic domed roof. Next, we arrive at the vibrant mountain village of Zia, where you will have 30 minutes of free time to wander the charming streets, explore the local shops, and soak in the beautiful atmosphere. On our descent, we take a step back in time with a visit to the historic ghost town of Haihoutes, enjoying a peaceful walk through its abandoned stone streets joined by a relaxing stop for coffee at the village's popular, rustic café. We will then cruise down the most picturesque roads on the island—boasting unrivaled views stretching across Kos, Bodrum, and the surrounding Aegean islands—giving you a fantastic chance to sample and purchase authentic local products and fresh, refreshing juices. As we near the end of our loop, we pass the magnificent ancient Asklepieion, pausing for a 20-minute stop where you can choose to enter and explore the historic ruins for an extra fee. Finally, our route takes us through the charming Turkish village of Platani before we make our way back to the town center for a smooth drop-off right at the store.
